Overview

Berkeley Internet Name Domain (BIND) is a distributed database service that resolves host names and enables internetwork mail. It is a distributed network information lookup service that maps host names to Internet addresses, and maps Internet addresses to host names.

Table 1 lists the different Web release versions of BIND available on the HP-UX 11.0, 11i v1, 11i v2, 11i v3 operating systems.
